(Photo: Daniel Nee)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The entrances and exists, as well as traffic signals, that remain inactive at Garden State Parkway interchange 91 will be open in two phases in August, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Two southbound entrances to the highway <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shorebeat.com\/brick\/2017\/05\/two-new-parkway-entrances-open-traffic-pattern-changes-in-brick\/\">opened in May<\/a>, but ever since, many residents have said work appeared to slow down, and the northbound exit lanes, as well as an additional entrance lane, have not opened.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Within this week or next week, the traffic signals located at the new Burrsville Road entrance will begin to flash,&#8221; said Mayor John Ducey. &#8220;The new signal located at Lanes Mill will also begin to flash.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The signals will be turned on for about two weeks to get people used to the location of the new lights, then the remaining exit and entrance lanes will be opened.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On or about Aug. 7, the new signals will be turned on and the Burrsville Road exit and Lanes Mill entry will open,&#8221; said Ducey.<\/p>\n<p>Then, on Aug. 14, the rest of the entries will open.
