Toms River police are searching for a man who they say followed an 8-year-old girl around a Dollar Tree store, then came close within her personal space and exposed himself by holding his genitals in his hand.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe girl\u2019s aunt observed this and immediately confronted the man, who then fled the store,\u201d said Toms River police spokesman Ralph Stocco.<\/p>\n

The store is located at 1358 Hooper Avenue, and the incident occurred Nov. 6. Police released surveillance images Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe images are not the best quality but given the nature of this incident and age of the victim we still hope to be able to make an identification of the suspect,\u201d said Stocco.<\/p>\n
